Ignite Core Voice Retreat

Please plan to arrive Friday between 3-5pm to settle in to your room and prepare for a wonderful weekend. 

We STRONGLY recommend leaving the bay on the earlier side to avoid Friday afternoon traffic. Please allow more time than you think to get there.

• Please make sure you put in the EXACT address above in google maps INCLUDING THE ZIP CODE. Otherwise it may lead you much further out of the way.
• Please have directions pulled up before you leave. If you are unfamiliar with the area, print or screenshot a map. Google maps works up to Signal Ridge Road but then you should follow the detailed directions below. 

CARPOOLING

• Please carpool with others if you can. If you'd like to consider carpooling, here's a google sheet to coordinate amongst yourselves.

PARKING

• As soon as you arrive, come through the gate in front of you (the gate on the left, NOT the gate on the right) and we will help you park.  

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM BAY AREA

•  101 North

  Exit in Cloverdale on the 128 West/North

  This section is curvy and beautiful; give yourself some cushion to enjoy this at a comfortable pace.

  You will drive through the town of Boonville, then through Philo

  Turn left on Philo Greenwood Road.

  You will pass the Apple Farm, cross a bridge above the Navarro River and pass Hendy Woods.

  Take this all the way up the hill until the first street where you can turn left–

  This is Signal Ridge Road.

  Go about 1-2 miles, as you head uphill on your left will be a tree with reflectors, lots of street numbers and a sign that says Good Kirkham Space Between Retreat.

  Turn left into this dirt driveway.

  Follow the dirt driveway. DO NOT GO RIGHT up the steep hill. Carry on down the driveway.

  You will pass a gray house. Go straight into the gate on the left (do not go into the gate on the right which is our property but will require you to turn around and exit the gate to find the parking).

  HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

•  For Friday evening arrivals, usually it is 3 hours from SF with a small bit of traffic in Petaluma and Santa Rosa… 

  GOOD PLACES TO STOP

• If you want to miss traffic, leave early and check out Healdsburg square- lots of great cafes and other places; Plank Coffee in Cloverdale is delish but closes at 2 pm; Disco Ranch or Jumbo’s are excellent stops in Boonville and Philo for food en route. Disco Ranch has a fabulous selection- let Wendy know you are visiting Samantha & Chris.

  Bohemian Chemist at the Madrones is an excellent local dispensary.

• 3-5pm - Arrive, settle in + snacks 
• 5:30pm - Movement session
• 6:15pm -Walk The Realm
• 7:30pm - Dinner
• 8pm - Evening Session + Opening Circle
•  9:30pm - Yoga Nidra Meditation with Sam

SATURDAY 

• 7am - Tea Meditation with Taryn
• 8am - Coffee/Tea + Light Breakfast
• 9:30-11:30am - Morning session
• 12:30pm - Lunch
• BREAK - Optional hike, rest, write, hang out, pool, connect
• 4-6pm - Afternoon session
• 7pm - Dinner
• 8pm - Evening session + dance party

SUNDAY

• 8am - Coffee/Tea + Light Breakfast
• 9-11am - Morning session
• 11am - Closing Circle
• 12:30pm - Brunch
• 1-3pm - Hang + connect or head out early
• 3pm - THE END :)

We will provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash that is organic and good for our septic system.

We will provide one large beach towel per person and bedding.

Please bring any other needs.

WHAT TO BRING

Everything you’d normally need to be cozy and comfortable at a weekend away with mixed weather.

• Yoga Mat 
• Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, light long sleeve layer) 
• Water bottle (there is water there to refill)
• Travel hot beverage mug
• Journal and writing implement
• Walking/hiking shoes if you'd like to join the group hike or explore the hiking trails around the property
• Slip-ons or flip flops for pool area
• Bathing suit for hot tub and sauna
• LAYERS LAYERS LAYERS as temperature can vary, and cozy things for the evenings!
• BYOB drinks or snacks for yourself or that you'd like to share.
• A fun outfit that makes you feel like your most vibrant self for Saturday evening's party - think of dressing as your GROOVE persona - the YOU who you want to be when you're at your best!

FOOD

We'll provide all the food, coffee/tea, water, and sparkling water throughout the weekend. 

COLLECTIVE MEAL PREP

• We will be preparing the meals as a collective and the kitchen facilities will not be available to store food or make separate food.
• You are invited to use the refrigerator in the barn to store food and beverages. 

PREP/COOK + CLEAN UP SHIFTS

• Each person will have 2 shifts (one prep/cook and one clean up). 
• Please clear your plate into the bus tubs and garbage cans that are available. 

WATER

• Our fresh well water is delicious to drink from the tap.
• Please bring a water bottle to ensure you stay hydrated throughout the weekend.

SNACKS + DRINKS

• If you are a big snacker, please bring your own snacks or something to share. 
• We will have some non-alcoholic beverages and may serve some wine at dinner. Please feel free to BYOB or some things to share with the group if you'd like. 

ALLERGIES

• Please let us know any allergies or restrictions in the registration form, and we'll do our best to accommodate.
• If you have very specific dietary needs, please plan to bring whatever you need to supplement your meal. 

BATHROOM SITUATION

There are three bathrooms on the Fig Tree Farm Property- a bathhouse with two Japanese toilets and two separate getting ready/shower areas and the cabin bathroom which is attached to the cabin with exterior access. 

There are three bathrooms on the Yurt property - a bathhouse with two Japanese toilets and two separate getting ready/shower areas and the poolhouse bathroom. The poolhouse bathroom is for the poolhouse resident and the chef and SBR personnel only. 

Note that we will be sharing the bathrooms, so we ask that you do your best to attend to tidiness and clean and add new TP where necessary. If you see something that needs attention, please let Samantha know.

COMMON SENSE CONSIDERATIONS

Please:

• don’t bring food into accommodations so as not to lure rodents and other critters
• close doors and tent flaps to keep out bugs and critters
• Don’t use your cell phone for calls in common areas
• Attend to how your behavior impacts the ability of others to appreciate our natural environment
• Clean up after yourself
• Do your best to arrive on time

HOW DO I STAY CONNECTED??

There are plentiful outlets and chargers. Please don’t move any of the chargers and please use outlets outside the main cooking areas.

WIFI

We do have wifi HOWEVER we strongly encourage you to switch off where possible.

All wifi networks are gerbil123 as the password
